Who would’ve guessed that a mission trip to Uganda in 2011 would make a fashion conscious, shoe lover leave her stilettos and wedges and move to Uganda to serve? God had bigger plans for my life and He allowed my heart to be touched and filled with an ongoing passion to serve His children in Uganda. As my life in Uganda begins, I ask that you follow me through social media, pray for me, keep in touch, and support my work.

My goal is to blog at least once a week and to Tweet a little more (depending on internet connections). I hope we can share, learn, love and grow together. Know that your heart’s calling might not be to give up your job for a year and move to Uganda, your calling could very well be to give up the comforts of your air conditioned room to go across the street or down the road to the local school, food bank, or shelter and serve the least of them there. No matter what your calling remember God will provide the means to make all things possible.
